EVERY bride’s worst nightmare is having her wedding dress rip, especially during the ceremony.
While one blushing bride was left totally exposed at the altar though, onlookers were busy too being distracted by her husband’s haircut.
Our wedding outfits will often be seen long after we are gone, with photos of the big day being shared by our children, grandchildren and potentially, future generations.
With so much at stake, it’s no wonder that happy couples often spend endless hours preparing in a desperate bid to get it right.
Though this Canadian bride had had her nails and hair done, it was her dress that let her down on her big day.
Before Annie walked up the aisle, her gown had looked beautiful with its tulle layers and delicate appliques.
As she said her vows though, the zipper broke leaving the bride-very exposed at the altar – with her bra visible to everyone at the ceremony.
Whilst tearing your dress used to be a bad omen, this bride had luck on her side as most members of the congregation were distracted by her groom’s haircut.
Though we encourage everyone to have their own sense of style, Gabriel’s hair has gone on to break the internet.
Rather than going for a buzzcut, the groom opted to shave some parts and leave others untouched.
Even with the wedding photos, it’s unclear what the design is meant to be as the front sections are all varying lengths.
It seems that this couple are comfortable with alternative styles though, as the bride also sported a semi-shaved head but left her locks long on top.
Unsurprisingly, their wedding ceremony has gone viral with many commenters discussing their attire afterwards.
After the photos were shared on Facebook, some users even admitted that they hadn’t noticed the bride’s dress was broken as her husband’s hair pulled focus.
One wrote: “I was so distracted by his hair I didn’t even notice the back of her dress until I read the comments.”
Another added: “This is like one of those wacky photos were the more you look at it, the more insane and nonsensical it gets. I keep noticing new things every time.”
However, others were more supportive of the couple and even argued that their loved ones should have helped.
“This is so sad,” wrote a third, saying: “A real friend would have have tried to fix this! A real friend would have never let their friend come out like that.”
A fourth even blamed the photographer, writing: “Even if there was absolutely nothing you could do to fix this, why have the camera shoot from that angle?”
Whilst getting hitched might not have gone to plan, we hope the couple have a long and happy life together.
