I’M A Celeb star Frankie Dettori mentioned an incident involving Grace Dent before she left that was never shown on screen.
During his exit interview with Ant and Dec, the jockey hinted at some unseen tension between two of the campmates.
Frankie Dettori, 52, was the first celebrity to be dumped from camp after receiving the least votes from the public.
After the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate received his glass of champagne from the presenting duo, Ant, 48, commented on the initial split between the two camps when he first entered the jungle,
He declared: “Some big personalities in that camp, was it difficult?”
“I met the first five of my camp, then I met the other five, it took a bit of time to get round the camp.”
But he then went onto say there was some kind of ‘incident’ between Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears which seemed to have a major effect on the camp.
“Then obviously we had the incident with Grace, Jamie Lynn as well, so that put a dampener on the week.
“We had to re-group, and we had to re-focus, we did the tasks, the rain didn’t help.
“All the clothes were damp, it puts everybody in a bad mood, but in fairness everybody really pulled their weight and did their chores and we all got on really well.”
As Dec, 48, quickly linked to a highlights VT of his time doing the different trials and tasks, viewers were sent into a flurry of excitement.
They took to X – formerly known as Twitter in their droves as they noticed the blunder as they wandered about the story behind the drama.
One I’m A Celeb fan posted: “‘Obviously there was the incident with Grace and Jamie lynn’ #ImACeleb.”
A second exclaimed: “‘We had the incident with Grace’ – Frankie. What really happened when Grace left the jungle .”
As a third remarked: “Frankie: ‘the incident with Grace..’ what incident? Thought she left on medical grounds?”
MasterChef star Grace previously quit the jungle on medical grounds but the exact details around her departure were not revealed.
At the time a spokesperson explained: “Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.
“She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike.”
Ant and Dec confirmed that the food writer and TV presenter Josie Gibson had been picked to take on the Down the Tubes trial.
The cameras cut to Grace as she looked crestfallen whilst the This Morning presenter buried her face in her hands.
She decided to quit the jungle shortly afterwards and was spotted going through security at Brisbane Airport as she swiftly headed home.
