Now the fans are the problem are they?
Considering the last decade I think we have some of the very best fans in the country.
I have not a single doubt that we are all over the moon with Wagner and Cook. Their positivity is infectious, having them at the club is the best signings in world football we could possibly have hoped for.
However they are human and all humans make mistakes. Bringing in Rooney was just that. Its not the end of the world and it will be sorted soon enough. These owners wont see us relegated so on that basis Rooney will be gone by Feb and we can get the party started and start going full steam ahead.
Rooney is a waste of space slob who shows no leadership or High performance characteristics.
Fans react to what they are seeing on the pitch, they are not performers who you can order to sing. Considering this I think the fans were good Saturday and the Tilton really tried to get behind the boys despite the dross on display and the temperature. Most fans need to see something decent to cheer about.
Its only Rooney that has taken a team that was 6th to be the worst team in the division in pretty short order. Lets not start blaming the fans for gods sake.
All the best and keep right on.
Absolutely this.
The new owners are potentially light years ahead of what we've had previously.
And it's not even like the fans haven't been against previous managers from the get go before.
Yep. I also think it's ridiculous how some are deifying the new owners when we've seen so little of them. They've started really well and are saying all the right things but this stuff of the fans scaring them off is nonsense.
It's our club. Why should we be expected to pander to them? It is for the owners to prove themselve to the fans IMO.
