AGE might just a number but for this couple, it has caused controversy.
Despite their forty year age gap though, twentysomething Willow and 62-year-old developer David just can’t seem to get enough of each other!
Whilst most older men want to slow down, David was still hoping to find the love of his life.
Thankfully, it was love at first swipe when the 62-year-old met Willow, 23, on Tinder and the couple were desperate to meet.
Falling first, the model claims loved the older property develop within just an hour of meeting him – with David admitting he felt the same as his other half.
“I didn’t want to be influenced by anything outside, I just wanted to know him and as him as a person. Let me see if I like you too, before I let any outside factors make me feel any type of way.” she said, recalling their first date to Truly’s Love Don’t Judge.
Her other half agreed, adding: “It was an unbelievable connection. I just fell immediately.”
Following their first date, they quickly coupled up and have had a whirlwind romance – resulting in them moving in together after just three months.
Though you’d think the honeymoon phase would be coming to an end, they still seem to be blissfully in love and have gone on multiple luxury trips together.
From seeing the Backstreet Boys live to spending weekends in the Bahamas together, their relationship doesn’t show signs of slowing down any time soon.
David and Willow are so devoted to each other, that they have even set up a Tiktok page about their relationship.
However, not everyone is so pleased for the happy couple.
Their forty year age gap has come under intense scrutiny on social media, with trolls regularly targeting the comments section of their videos.
Willow often receives the bulk of the backlash, with strangers labelling her a ‘golddigger’ and call David her ‘sugar daddy’.
“I’m not allowed to read comments anymore because I take that stuff personally,” David told Truly, with the 62-year-old admitting that his protective of his other half.
Though they’ve had to turn a blind eye to the cruel comments, the couple’s loved ones have been far more accepting of their unusual relationship.
The property developer even told filmmakers: “Her mother is like ‘I’m convinced y’all knew each other in a prior life…I’ve never seen my daughter happier’.”
It’s not hard to see why with the model revealing that she enjoys how older men treat her, especially when it comes to small gestures – such as pulling her chair out at a restaurant.
“I’ve definitely dated older men before,” she revealed, adding: “They’ve learnt already and you don’t have to babysit them. They are courteous. They know how to take of a lady.”
She’s so taken with her older boyfriend that Willow has already planned a lavish wedding, with a private jet to take their loved ones to their Italian venue.
Whilst we wish the happy couple all they best, we can’t help feeling a little jealous of their guests!
