The Assembly Elections have concluded in five states—Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, and Telangana. While the counting of votes in Mizoram has been rescheduled to December 4 by the Election Commission, the results for the remaining four states are being announced today. Mizoram conducted voting for its 40 Assembly seats on November 7, while Chhattisgarh held elections in two phases on November 7 and November 17. Madhya Pradesh’s 230-member Assembly witnessed polling on November 17. Rajasthan conducted voting for its 199 seats on November 25, and Telangana went to the polls for 119 seats on November 30.
