GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Saturday warned President Joe Biden that Donald Trump could win the presidency and then jail Biden.
The former president has consistently claimed the criminal prosecutions he is facing are directed by his political opponent, but the courts have yet to agree with that determination. On Friday, Judge Chutkan issued a decision in the D.C. criminal case finding that Trump isn't immune from prosecution just because he was president.
Legal expert Andrew Weissmann commented on a specific portion of that ruling on his social media.
"From Judge Chutkan's decision on presidential immunity yesterday: 'By definition, the President’s duty to 'take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed' does not grant special latitude to violate them,'" Weissmann wrote in quoting the judge's ruling.
Former Trump aide Stephen Miller took Weismann's observation and attempted to use it for threats.

"Per Weismann, a future DOJ can throw Biden & his many co-conspirators (eg Mayorkas) in jail for violating every immigration law on the books and for a conspiracy to commit human trafficking, drug trafficking and drug smuggling — to name just a few of the numerous felony charges," Miller wrote Saturday.
Taylor Greene concurred with Miller's proffered interpretation.
"Yep. They should be careful the precedents they set," she wrote in the post.
