The 10-day placement drive at IIT(BHU) has begun with a maximum package of Rs. 1.68 crore being offered to a student. About 230 companies are participating, including Uber, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, Microsoft, and others. IIT-Bombay and IIT-Roorkee have also started their placements, with IIT-Roorkee receiving international offers and IIT-Guwahati having offers above Rs 1 crore. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal expressed excitement about the future of the country during campus interviews at IITs.
