I’M A Celebrity star Danielle Harold’s feisty nature will help her survive in the jungle, her mum has said.
Her comments come after the former EastEnders actress has already found herself in the crossfire between ex-Brexit chief Nigel Farage, 59, and YouTuber Nella Rose, 26, who clashed over immigration on the ITV show.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, her mum Lisa Carter, 53, said: “She never went to acting school, but I think she is proof that you don’t always have to.
“She’s always been strong and determined – and maybe a bit feisty at school.
“She never caused any trouble, but she was just a typical teenage girl.”
Lisa also revealed that her only daughter, who grew up in Lewisham, South East London, is made of strong stuff after she was in and out of hospital with a severe illness during secondary school.
She said: “It was very difficult as a mum and also tough for Danielle but she came out the other side.
“I think part of what she went through back then has made her the strong woman she is today.
“She isn’t one to give up – and I think she will prove that in the jungle.”
Despite leaving school with one GCSE, Danielle applied for Jamie’s Dream School – a Channel 4 reality show with chef Jamie Oliver – in 2011, which led her to bag the role of Lola on EastEnders.
Lisa said: “I think there was a time when maybe she felt a bit lost, mainly because she had missed a lot of school.
“She has wanted to be an actress ever since I can remember and I think her determination got her there.
“She would go to auditions all of the time, queuing for ages – she isn’t one to give up.”
