Chalamet wore the brand's Bailey Chelsea boots on the red carpet.
Timothée Chalamet led the way on Friday’s “Wonka” red carpet premiere in Paris. Chalamet, who plays a young version of Willy Wonka, the eccentric chocolatier from the 1964 Roald Dahl novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” wore a head-to-toe Tom Ford outfit for the event.
Chalamet wore a sheer light pink sleeveless top with beaded hanging loops embroidered from Ford’s spring 2024 collection, a wool-silk reps frogmouth trouser and Bailey Chelsea boots.
The Bailey Chelsea boot is made from glossy patent leather with a slightly elongated square toe, gored sides and stacked heels.
Chalamet has a long relationship with Tom Ford. He wore a pink womenswear suit — also from the brand’s spring 2024 collection — to the film’s London premiere on Nov. 28. In October, the actor attended a Chanel dinner in a brown Tom Ford suit.
Hugh Grant, who plays an Oompa-Loompa in the film, posed with Chalamet at the premiere in a classic black velvet suit, an unbuttoned white shirt and black leather shoes.
“Wonka” is set to hit the theaters on Dec. 15. The movie also features Sally Hawkins, Olivia Colman, Keegan-Michael Key and Rowan Atkinson.
Timothée Chalamet, who is an ambassador for Cartier and for Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel Parfum, is currently working on “Dune: Part 2” and “A Complete Unknown,” where he will play Bob Dylan.
