A MOTHER-DAUGHTER duo have captivated viewers with their fit lifestyle.
Professional fitness coach Denise Austin and her daughter Katie now showcase their lively personalities and optimistic outlook online.
Denise Austin (@thedeniseaustin) is a 66-year-old pioneer in the exercise industry for 40 years, best-selling author and creator of Fit Over 50 Magazine.
In a TikTok video, she was joined by her 30-year-old daughter Katie Austin to show off separate but similar workout moves.
Denise called it “perfect” because Katie did the high-impact moves, while she herself showed off the low-impact options.
The younger woman wore a two-piece pink athletic leggings set, while her mother wore a bright blue body suit that showed off their unique body shapes.
First, Katie did jumping jacks while her mom did side-to-side steps with her arms raised one by one.
Then, Denise did low squats into her arms raised, while her daughter did squat jumps and moved into butt kicks, while her mom did an alternative version.
The last two moves were squats and skater hops, which Katie showed in a jumping form and her mother in a modified way.
“I just want to say thank you! You are what I needed to get me moving! It’s not easy at 51 but I’m doing it. Thank you!” a fan praised.
In another video, Katie and her mother reveled in their similar career choices.
“My mom 30 year ago: ‘I wonder what my future daughter would be doing’,” the first subtitle read with Denise on screen.
The next read with text in front of Katie: “Well she’s actually following in your fitness footsteps, just doing it a little differently.”
At the end of the video, the pair smiled together with a subtitle that appeared over them that said: “And NOW we do it together!!!”
“You’re both amazing. I can’t imagine growing up with such a great role model,” a viewer wrote.
Another added: “The best combination,” while a TikTok user chimed in: “Your mom is soo pretty see the resemblance.”
Katie uses her social media platform to promote her own fitness empire with her mother making regular appearances in her videos.
