Santos vows to start ratting colleagues out to House Ethics Committee
Embattled Rep. George Santos (R-NY), who is potentially hours away from being expelled from the House of Representatives, teased a potential revenge tour while talking with reporters on Thursday.
Politico's Olivia Beavers reports that Santos says he's going to spend what could be his final hours in Congress ratting out fellow lawmakers whom he believes violated ethics rules.
"I will do the same thing members that to me and go to the Office of Congressional Ethics, all throughout today and tomorrow and report, a free thing that I think is relevant to the committee for them to look into," said Santos.
Santos wouldn't say specifically whom he would be targeting, but he did say he has at least "a couple" in mind.

Santos came under fire shortly after being elected last year when multiple reports revealed that he fabricated entire parts of his life story, including his academic career, his work history, and even his claims of Jewish heritage.
Santos has since been criminally charged with seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, two counts of making false statements to Congress, and one count of theft of public funds.
A House Ethics Committee investigation also found that Santos misused campaign donations to pay for Botox injections and online pornography.
