Brits offered free extra week on beach holidays to Portugal, Cyprus & Mauritius

SUNSEEKERS booking long breaks can bag an extra week completely free of charge.

The holidays start from £348pp – but there isn’t much time to take advantage of the offers.

Brits are being offered an extra free week on beach holidays to Portugal, Malta, Sri Lanka and Mauritius[/caption]

Mercury Holidays, one of the UK’s leading independent Tour Operators since 1980, is the travel company behind the deals.

The offer says that the ‘longer you stay, the more you’ll save’.

Those booking one week will receive a second week for free, and those booking two weeks will also receive an extra week.

The three-week offers are available in many destinations, including Malta, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus.

The sale will end soon, but the offers are valid on selected dates until 2025.

The only catch is that most hotels won’t let you book during their peak season.

The deals are constantly changing, but you can browse them all here:

The two-week offers are available in two bucket-list-worthy destinations: Mauritius and Sri Lanka.

The cheapest deal we’ve found is staying at the four-star Citrus Hikkaduwa in Sri Lanka.

The two-week deal is available from £830pp on a bed and breakfast basis for both weeks – which works out at £59pp a night.

Flights and baggage allowance are also included.

For those wishing to upgrade, one week of all-inclusive will cost £995pp, plus the extra week – which will still be on a b&b basis.

Here are the best deals we’ve found in Sri Lanka:

• 14 nights at Blue Water Hotel in Wadduwa, Sri Lanka, Indian Ocean – from £862pp
• 14 nights at Club Palm Bay in Marawila, Sri Lanka, Indian Ocean – from £898pp

Meanwhile, these are the best deals we’ve found in Mauritius, all on a B&B basis:

• 14 nights at Jalsa Beach Hotel and Spa in Poste Lafayette, Mauritius – from £922pp
• 14 nights at Casuarina Resort and Spa at Trou aux Biches, Mauritius – from £953pp

All the holidays are ABTA and ATOL protected.
