MARRIED At First Sight star Peggy Rose has splashed out on a £108k Land Rover and fans were left asking the same question.
It comes just a few days after Peggy, 32, was left devastated after her flashy £60k Range Rover was stolen.
The E4 star was forced to defend herself after showing off her new set of wheels[/caption]The Kent-based beauty – who works as a technology risk partner – visited a car showroom on Thursday and showed off her new motor.
Peggy posed next to a black sleek Land Rover, priced around £108k.
She wrote alongside the snaps: “Grateful to Land Rover for turning my stolen dreams into a reality again! So excited.
“Bravery is the armour, resilience the shield. In the journey of life, DEFEND yourself boldly.”
But fans were left asking the star how she could afford such a pricey purchase.
One wrote: “How do you afford this?!”
Peggy was forced to respond, writing: “Work, work and work! Work in highlights. I’m always grafting I can’t relax even at a spa I struggle haha.”
Many fans were quick to defend the star, with one writing: “Nobody’s business how you can afford it. I’m just happy for you.”
Another commented: “o many people asking “how do you afford this?!” It’s SO rude. Honestly I feel sorry that you’ve had to explain yourself to them. It’s nobody else’s business but your own for a start, and people who ask questions like this have not been brought up with any respect and compassion, OR realistically they’re just jealous.
“I don’t usually comment on things at all, as I don’t involve myself in the drama; but I couldn’t sit back and hold my tongue on this one. Your car is beautiful, the same as you are, and I’m happy for you.”
A third added: “Does it matter how she can afford this…if you had watch the program you would already know that Peggy works hard for her own money.”
It comes after the TV star issued a warning to her fans, urging them to have an important piece of equipment fitted.
Peggy, who married Georges Berthonneau on the match-making show, shared a snap of her white whip before it was robbed.
“Still can’t believe my pride and joy was stolen! Please everyone who has one get a ghost immobiliser fitted if you haven’t already!” she wrote.
“Any ghost 2 installation companies – please DM me asap!”
The luxury motor had “New 7oy” as its registration plate.
In a joint post, Peggy Rose Lawrence and Georges Berthonneau, 30, revealed they were still together.
They wrote: “CONFIRMED: We’re still together!
“We held back on sharing and smothering socials to give ourselves some much needed quality time post the show ending.
“Although we are in a relationship, we still have our own identity and individuality – that’s what makes us so strong.
“As cliche as this sounds, we want to thank you all for your patience – it hasn’t been easy, but sharing our journey with you means the world as your ongoing love and support are everything to us.”
