Our Fashion Team have picked out the best bows on the high street, from statement tops to bow-embellished bags and an almost identical dupe for that viral sold-out H&M Dress!
Bow mania![/caption]This AW23 runway trend has proven to be a huge hit.
Designer brands Balmain, Simone Rocha and Chanel have heavily influenced the high street, which is full of perfect party pieces for the festive season.
Celebs are all over this trend, with A-listers Kendall Jenner, Emma Watson and Sydney Sweeney sporting bows recently.
Here’s how to get this Fashion-Team-approved look, without the expensive price tag.
Always trust your instinct. There are two items on this list that I am currently waiting on with a NOTIFY ME alert, because my size has sold out.
It seems that some partywear is so good you need to buy it at the beginning of November to make sure you get it!
I’m all about a statement top that I can wear with a pair of jeans and party flats, so this sellout H&M red top is on my wish list when it comes back in.
Cosy knits are my Christmas Day go-to when comfort is key and I don’t want to worry about how many roasties I’m eating!
I also love going a bit androgynous at Christmas, so this Zara silk bow tie is a great accessory to team with a velvet smoking suit.
Bows are everywhere this festive season, and they’re a classy way to incorporate some fun into your outfit.
Even the Princess of Wales is on board, stepping out last week in a red bow cape coat by Catherine Walker.
These are just a few pieces I’m currently lusting after.
I’m obsessed with this bow midi-dress from Sister Jane, as it’s the perfect occasion dress that will wow at any festive event.
Or, if you’re after a more subtle nod to the bow trend, there are tons of accessories on the high street, including this cute gold clutch from Monsoon and silver kitten heels from Zara, which will be great if you can’t stand in stilettos for very long.
And try adding some colour to your wardrobe then this lilac top from H&M – it’s a great statement piece for just £24.99.
When it comes to occasion dressing, I’m all about business at the front, party at the back. And this Zara dress does just that!
Its slinky, straight silhouette glides over your figure, but isn’t bodycon, so is perfect for this time of year when you want to treat yourself and overindulge – and I love the simple but statement double bows at the back.
I also adore this fawn-coloured cardigan from Massimo Dutti. Great for cold winter days and layering with a rollneck, I’ll also pair it with a gold, satin maxi-skirt or some tuxedo trousers for a party.
Plus, these gold flats from Dune still say party feet – just without the high-heel pain! While the chic bow hair clip which will add the finishing touch to any outfit.
Bows aren’t usually my jam, but there are so many on the high street this season, I thought I would dip my toe in – and I’m so glad I did!
My absolute faves are the mules from & Other Stories, as they will go perfectly with so many of my dresses and wide-leg trousers for the party season.
I also love an LBD, so this Mango bow-fronted dress is on my Christmas wish list and will be great for black tie events after the festive season is over.
And you can’t go wrong with a pair of bow earrings – these Weekday ones are so cute!
If you, like me missed out on THAT H&M dress, then look no further than Next for this gorgeous dupe!
It’s safe to say that I am a bow fanatic, and I’ve totally jumped on the bandwagon. In fact, I will be wearing this sequin number on Christmas Day.
If you want something a bit more subtle, opt for a bag or a pair of slingbacks with bow decoration – this nude pair from Zara wil look great all year round, too.
I’m also crushing on the half-up-half-down hair bow trend that I’ve seen all over TikTok recently. This scrunchie from Primark is perfect and saves the fuss of a clip – win-win!
