AMAZON Fire TV Stick users can access a lesser-known menu that pops up with one click.
You’ll need a Fire Stick or Amazon Fire TV and an Alexa Voice Remote to access the feature.
The trick involves clicking the microphone button that is usually held down to give a spoken request to Alexa.
Instead of holding it down, try to click on it just once.
A new menu panel should pop up at the bottom of the screen.
It will advise you to press and hold the microphone button and give you a prompt question.
That isn’t its only function though as to the right, you’ll see a selection of tabs.
This may include a smart home tab, weather, library, and news.
Clicking on these is a fast-track way to access those features.
According to AFTV News, the items you see on the panel have changed over the years.
That means you may see a different selection of options in your menu.
It’s also said to have included access to cooking videos and sports news.
If you have a favorite app on your Fire TV Stick that you want to access quickly, you should try moving it to the top of your apps.
Changing the order of your Amazon Fire Stick apps is easy with your remote.
Find the app you want to move and click the Menu button on your Fire Stick remote.
Next, click on Move and then Move to front.
Now the app will be the first one you see on your homepage.
