Look what he did to Philly!
Peak Zion Williamson is just so much fun. When he’s healthy and in condition, there is no one even close to what he can do on a basketball court.
Against Philadelphia Wednesday night, Williamson shot 11-11 and finished with 33 points.
As we’ve said before, everyone knows what the former Duke star is going to do and no one can stop it. He generally goes to his left and does some variation of a finger roll or dunk.
But it’s not just the scoring. The passing here is pretty brilliant. When he was recruited by Duke, then-coach Mike Krzyzewski sold him by telling him that at Duke, he’d be allowed to explore his skills. And that’s what he did against Philly.
When he’s playing at this level, he makes New Orleans a major threat in the NBA. Keep in mind that the guys he’s blowing past, knocking down and making look silly, are all elite athletes themselves.
