On Thursday, November 30th, “Qatar Charity Foundation” and “Qatar Red Crescent” extended their assistance to the victims of Herat province, Afghanistan.
The Embassy of Qatar in Kabul is actively coordinating relief efforts as Qatar extends its hand of support to the earthquake-affected regions of Herat.
In addition to the ongoing assistance, Qatar is planning two additional flights to Afghanistan on December 3rd and 4th, demonstrating its commitment to aiding those in need during this challenging time.
In a recent relief effort, six well-equipped camps and 1000 food packages were delivered to Herat province on a domestic flight. Each food package contains 24 kilograms of essential supplies, ensuring aid reaches those in need within the province.
It’s important to note that this initiative is part of the ongoing support from the Qatar Charity Foundation (2000 food packages) and the Qatar Red Crescent (6000 food packages), dedicated to providing transparent and vital assistance to Afghan households during these challenging times.
Earlier, Qatar provided humanitarian cargo, including 60 tons of instructional materials for the education sector and vital food relief supplies. This delivery underscores Qatar’s commitment to providing essential support to the people of Afghanistan during these hard times.
The humanitarian aid delivered to Afghanistan reflects Qatar’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Afghan people in meeting their urgent essential needs. Over the past few years, Qatar has consistently provided hundreds of tons of vital humanitarian goods, including food supplies, through an air bridge connecting Qatar to Kabul.
