Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially distributed scooters to girls and boys who achieved 60% and 75%, respectively, in the Higher Secondary Examinations under the Pragyan Bharati scheme. This initiative, now in its sixth year, honors the memory of the esteemed writer and linguist Dr. Banikanta Kakati, with 35,770 students receiving scooters in the year 2023.
