A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash in Rocky Hill on Wednesday.
Police responded to the area of 170 Forest St. around 5:21 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls about the crash, according to the Rocky Hill Police Department.
Officers found a pedestrian suffering from serious injuries and provided medical aid until medics arrived. The victim was taken to an area hospital and has been listed in stable condition, police said.
The driver involved, who was not injured, remained at the scene and has been cooperative with authorities, according to police.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed the motorist was driving west on Forest Street during the collision and the pedestrian was walking within the roadway.
The Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team responded based on the seriousness of the crash and has assumed the investigation.
