Molly-Mae makes ‘powerful statement’ & reveals where her relationship with Tommy is really at, claims body language pro
MOLLY-MAE Hague and Tommy Fury have been the victim of split rumours for the past few days.
But last night Molly-Mae, 24, held her head high when she stepped out for The House Of CB Christmas Party – and silenced hers and Tommy’s critics with a small but “deliberate statement”, according to a body language expert.
Influencer Molly, who is a proud mum to baby daughter Bambi, attended the VIP bash in London after reports began swirling that there could be trouble in paradise for the couple who met on Love Island in 2019.
Their relationship has been under scrutiny since her boxer husband-to-be was snapped partying with women and US rapper Chris Brown while in the UAE.
Molly then appeared without her engagement ring on two different occasions, while Tommy, also 24, seemed to snub her in a social media post when he landed back in the UK.
But Molly – who has been pictured without her £600k engagement ring in the past following a home burglary where some of her jewellery was stolen – subtly hit back while she attended the party in a black dress with fur trim.
And she made sure her engagement rock was on her hand for everyone to see.
According to a body language expert, Molly’s small gesture spoke a thousand words.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Barbara Santini – a Psychologist, Relationship Adviser and body language pro – revealed: “Firstly, let’s consider Molly-Mae’s choice to prominently display her engagement ring.
“This is a powerful non-verbal statement. In the language of symbolism, an engagement ring is not just a piece of jewellery – it’s a commitment emblem, a tangible representation of a relationship.
“By choosing to wear it at a time when her relationship is under scrutiny, Molly-Mae is communicating a reaffirmation of her bond with her fiance.
“It’s a deliberate and clear counteraction to the rumours, signifying that, at least from her perspective, the relationship remains strong.”
But that wasn’t the only thing Barbara said it was important to take note of from Molly’s latest public appearance.
She continued: “The nature of Molly-Mae’s smile in these pictures is also telling.
“In the field of psychology, we often differentiate between a ‘Duchenne smile’ – a genuine expression of happiness that involves the eyes – and a ‘non-Duchenne smile,’ which can be more of a social or polite gesture.”
Barbara said that if Molly-Mae’s grin reached her eyes, it could indicate more about how she’s feeling.

She continued: [This] could suggest genuine contentment or happiness, perhaps a reflection of her inner confidence about her relationship status, or simply her enjoyment of the event itself.”
Barbara also suggested that Molly-Mae “appears relaxed and at ease with open body language,” but stressed that “what we see in a photograph is just a snapshot.”
Barbara concluded: “Molly-Mae’s body language at this event could be interpreted as a statement of resilience and commitment in the face of public scrutiny.”
Since the event, the couple has also put on a united front on social media.
When Molly shared a glam photo of herself from the night and declared that “LBD season has officially started”, Tommy was among the first to comment.
He told her she was “perfection” alongside a red love heart emoji, as their fans rushed to like his sweet message.
