SAVVY Superdrug shoppers have shared how to get £20 worth of beauty goodies totally free.
So if you’re on a budget, but don’t want to scrimp on your skincare, you’ll need to pay attention.
Bargain hunters have discovered a super simple way to get beauty goodies for free[/caption] So if you’re looking to save money, you’ll need to download the new Superdrug app immediately[/caption]According to bargain hunters, you can get free rewards with the Superdrug app – yes, you heard that correctly.
Thrilled with the discovery, one beauty fan, named Lucy Mavriano, took to social media to alert other shoppers.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Lucy shared a picture of her skincare freebies.
She wrote: “I had a free reward on my Superdrug app.
“It was BOGOF [buy one, get one free], so two products worth £19 for free.
“Worth checking your Superdrug app.”
Lucy then confirmed that as a result of her free reward, she wasn’t required to make a purchase in order to get the items for free.
The beauty fan was lucky enough to get a hydrating face mist and a creamy foaming cleanser, from Superdrug’s B. Skincare range.
While the hydrating face mist is normally priced at £9.99 and the foaming cleanser is £8.99, it’s no surprise that Lucy was chuffed with her savings.
Social media users were also impressed to hear about the discounts and many were thankful to Lucy for alerting shoppers.
One person said: “Thank you, never would have checked.”
Another added: “I got 30 quid worth of stuff for £9.99.
“Bogof then a free gift.. was very surprised.”
Whilst a third tagged a friend and commented: “Check yours.”
This reward comes after Superdrug recently announced a new perk for members.
The chain recently launched a new VIP Rewards Loyalty Scheme, which gives members access to exclusive offers and deals, all year round.
The retailer hopes the scheme will help its loyal customers “feel rewarded” and help with the cost of day-to-day products they love.
The VIP Rewards Scheme is part of the brand’s plans to move customers from physical loyalty cards to an app-based loyalty scheme.
The app is available for download in the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.
Shoppers will still be able to collect points with their Health and Beautycard, with one point awarded for every £1 spent at Superdrug.
You can spend points in multiples of 100, with 100 points worth £1.
As part of the VIP reward scheme, each customer will be given a threshold based on their current spend at the store. The more you spend the more you will be rewarded.
Once a member hits a total spend of £300 they will reach the VIP which gives them exclusive access to 12 months of unlimited rewards.
This could include ‘always on’ offers such as 10% off Superdrug’s own brand and beauty services, plus new rewards, which will launch on the app every other month.
