Martin created the show along with John Bowman and Topper Carew, with him playing the titular character.
The humorous series was aired on Fox between 1992 and 1997 across five seasons, and it followed the everyday life of a radio DJ in Detroit called Martin, his best friends Tommy and Cole, his girlfriend Gina and her best friend, Pam.
The streamer has yet to confirm whether all 132 episodes of the 5 series will land on its platform, but the notice on the page states that only a few seasons are on the way.

The Martin show is owned by HBO and Warner Bros, with rights tied up with BET.
This new TV show pick-up comes after Netflix tried to obtain licenses for older iconic TV shows and movies, but struggled due to legal reasons over the last few years.
So far, some of the well-known shows the streamer has managed to get licences for include Band of Brothers, First Wives Club and The Family Business.
Recently, viewers of the streaming platform blasted Netflix after it released Best. Christmas. Ever. and fans dubbed it one of the ‘worst’ films ever made.
Jackie Chan was even featured on one of the episodes called I Saw Gina Kissing Santa Claus, which aired December 17, 1992[/caption]
