Jane Fonda Has This Hilarious Reason Why She Only Wants To Date Younger Men

Jane Fonda isn’t dating right now, but she has a list of requirements if she decides to let a man into her life. At 85 years old, the Oscar winner is keeping her list short, sweet, and very, very honest.
On comedian Heather McMahan’s Nov. 22 podcast, Absolutely Not, Fonda shared that if she gets back on the dating scene, she will be looking for a much younger man the next time around. She said out loud what many older men have been doing for decades — even centuries. “I’m ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he’d have to be 20,” she admitted.
“Now, why specifically 20?” asked McMahan.
Because I don’t like old skin,” Fonda frankly stated, which elicited a hearty laugh from the podcast host.
“I’m right there with you,” the comedian agreed. “I’m doing everything I can to keep it fresh.”
In 2021, Fonda told Harper’s Bazaar that she has a fantasy of who she would like to date because she is still interested in sex in this season of life. “I’ll just put it out there,” she teased. “That I meet a professor or a researcher, somebody in that line who is really capable of loving, of cherishing a woman, so that I could test myself and see if I could show up.” She admitted she wasn’t great at intimacy, but she hoped a younger man (maybe a little older than 20) could check off the requirements on her dating wish list. There has to be an academic type out there who would want to date a Hollywood icon, right? She’s Jane freakin’ Fonda!
