A SKINCARE enthusiast has spilled the details on her homemade concoction to turn back the clock.
She said her anti-aging elixir only costs $6, with the recipe using an ingredient easily available from most grocery stores.
Kate Ring (@yourmategingerkate) filmed herself detailing her process in a video on TikTok.
First, she showed a photo of herself from one year ago, clearly looking older than her current condition.
“So this is just your reminder that you do not need expensive products or fancy designer names in order to improve your skin and the texture of your skin and get rid of fine lines, wrinkles,” she said.
“And you definitely, definitely, definitely do not need Botox, fillers, or surgery.
“The truth of the matter is, most of these products you see on the shelves that they’re trying to push on you and get you to buy, it’s just for the toxic crap.
“Toxic chemicals that are not fit for human consumption in any way, shape or form,” she added.
She revealed her holy grail product, which can be purchased from the grocery store.
“I swear by Castor oil, it’s honestly one of the reasons why my skin texture has improved so much,” she said.
“And some days it honestly feels like I’m aging backwards,” she added.
The TikToker, who dedicated her account to natural remedies with minimal ingredients, said her tips make her feel and appear younger.
“Don’t let the cosmetic industry fool you,” she added.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
“I’m a Botox nurse, but I’m also sitting here with a face full of castor oil,” one wrote.
“I use castor oil every night my skin looks so much better — today I was told I look 36. I’m 50 next March,” another added.
