On Wednesday, the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), one of the oldest Meitei insurgent groups from Manipur, inked a peace deal with the Central and Manipur governments. The agreement aims to halt hostilities, releasing detained members, and resolving cases. The Peace Monitoring Committee will oversee adherence to agreed rules.
