The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against two individuals in connection with the Islamic State-sponsored pressure cooker blast that occurred in Mangaluru, Karnataka, in November of the previous year. One of the accused, Mohamed Shariq, intended to plant the improvised explosive device (IED) at the Kadri Manjunatha Temple to create terror among Hindus, but the low-intensity bomb accidentally exploded on the way.
