LORRAINE Kelly has comes under fire for taking a swipe at Nigel Farage’s appearance.
Her morning TV show has been hit with more than 300 Ofcom complaints after she body shamed the former politician live on air.
Lorraine, 63, spoke out about Nigel after he was seen taking a shower naked.
She described the scenes as traumatising, before questioning his age and appearance.
The presenter said: “Is he only 59??! I thought he was a hell of a lot older than that.
“That is astonishing. You get the face you deserve, thankfully. You really do.”
At the time her comments surprised viewers, who rushed to complain on social media.
A total of 354 people took the complaint further and contacted the broadcasting regulator.
Nigel’s team complained on X: “Has @lorraine apologised for body shaming Nigel Farage yet?
“Imagine if he made those comments about her on live TV…The media would cancel him!”
Nigel’s campmates have been a bit more complimentary about his body after getting over the initial shock of seeing him naked.
Josie Gibson said: “Seen it again, he’s nearly sixty, he looks good!”
She later told him: “We all had a peek at your bottom.”
He asked her: “It’s not too bad?” and she agreed: “It not too bad.”
Last week it was revealed that Nigel’s legal team complained to ITV about showing him naked.
According to reports, the Brexit supporter’s aides have claimed there is an ‘indecency’ clause in his contract, which is supposed to ban bosses from showing him with his kit off.
ITV confirmed they have received a complaint but have stated there is nothing in his contract stopping him being showed naked.
