“I love you, wherever you are.”
Alfredo first gained online fame by discussing sports nutrition from a vegan perspective.
The Spanish bodybuilder later made a name for himself talking about what he dubbed “sports pharmacology.”
On Instagram and YouTube, Alfredo went by the names Héroe Fitness and Villano Fitness.
He boasted hundreds of thousands of followers and subscribers, whom he kept updated with snaps of his muscular body and his workouts.
He also gave his fans frequent tips on how to gain muscle mass, how to train properly, and the best HIIT exercises – or high-intensity interval training.
His cause of death remains unknown.
Alfredo was open about his use of appearance and performance-enhancing drugs or APEDs.
He had set up an academy where he gave classes on sports performance.
The academy’s website says: “Very few speak clearly about the correct use of ergogenic aids in fitness.
“Either because they are not aware of the evidence on the subject or because they have used them incorrectly.”
He had also written a book with “a large amount of detailed and audience-friendly information about the most commonly used substances in fitness and bodybuilding“, according to publisher Editorial Transverso.
This news come after a bodybuilding doctor died from a cardiac arrest after a massive bleed caused by a liver tumour.
And last month bodybuilder Christian Figueredo died at the age of 29 after suffering a stroke during an operation.
