BUYING a wedding dress is one of the biggest and most expensive decisions in a woman’s life.
Whilst some women will spend thousands on their dream dress, one bride showed off her stunning gown – which cost less than £40!
As the average UK wedding costs over £18,000, it’s not surprising that brides are desperately trying to find ways to save on their ceremonies.
Experts at Hitched even claim that the dress is the second most expensive wedding item, with most brides spending £1,350 before even making it down the aisle.
Rather than bankrupt herself before her big day, influencer Narssie found simple way to get her dream dress at just a fraction of the price.
Like other young women, the Belgian content creator instead bought her dress from budget-friendly brand Shein – spending less than most people do on a takeaway.
The stunning gown cost the influencer just £39.49, with Narssie and her followers anxiously awaiting what the dress would look like.
Though most women are will to take the risk, the content creator’s gamble paid off.
Made from elegant satin style material, the dress featured a daring thigh slit which elongated her legs.
There were also delicate pleats which emphasised Narssie’s slender silhouette, with the influencer showing her 67,000 fans just how beautifully the wedding dressed draped over her.
Finishing the look and adding a little extra drama, the off shoulder gown also had a large ruffle which drew the viewers’ eyes up as they took in the wedding dress.
Needless to say, her followers were impressed by the content creator’s thrifty find and the video has been viewed over 20,000 times since she uploaded it.
With extra cash to splash, Narssie also tested two other low cost wedding dresses from the viral website.
If you thought the first dress was dramatic, her other Shein gown gave a more structured look with large butterfly shelves and plunging v-neckline.
Also made from a similar satin-esq fabric, the dress flowed down to the floor and had a large train – perfect for brides who want to be the center of attention on their big day.
Of course, she could afford to as the eye-catching dress cost just £62.49 online – which is a steal, even though she had to add accessories later.
By contrast, the influencer’s third look was more girly as the strapless wedding dress had a classic sweetheart neckline.
The hyper feminine gown also had 3D petals scattered across the bodice, with flowers also being embroidered on to one of the many tule layers.
It seems every woman can afford to feel like a princess on their big day, with the gown costing just £45.49 on Shein.
Unsurprisingly, Narssie’s fan were begging her for the codes in the comments after seeing her stunning wedding haul on Tiktok.
She even revealed to her fans that the structured look had been her favourite, but she’s yet to share whether she wore the dress on her big day.
