PlayStation and Xbox players unite to grab new distinctly British controllers

XBOX has revealed a number of new consoles and controllers that fans have been going wild for.

Now it’s PlayStation fans’ chance for a quirky custom fit, as a new set of controllers has been announced.

First Xbox announced a chocolate-themed console for the release of the Wonka film, then there was a family-friendly console launched.

A new controller was recently announced to match the Xbox Double Double coffee-themed controller.

Xbox and PlayStation have partnered with Yorkshire Tea to bring two distinctly British controllers.

The controllers are similar to the box art for Yorkshire Tea, with pictures of large sprawling farms.

There’s also the red Yorkshire Tea logo displayed across each controller.

However, there’s a catch, as these controllers are a little more pricey than your standard.

The standard price for the PS5 DualSense is £59.99, which is a similar price to the Xbox controller for the Xbox Series X|S.

However, these Yorkshire Tea controllers are over twice the price, retailing at £150.

These are limited-edition controllers so they will be gone soon, but it will be surprising if they sell quickly given the price.

Even if you are a dedicated Yorkshire Tea drinker, these special controllers might be a bit too much for your taste.

Both the Wonka- and Bluey-themed Xboxs were given away as part of a promotion with limited copies made.

However, the fact that these two controllers are just for sale will likely mean only the most hardened controller collectors will grab them.
