Cable news outlet NewsNation has struck a deal with satellite radio provider SiriusXM to air "The Hill" on its P.O.T.U.S. channel starting next month.
Beginning Dec. 4, an audio broadcast of "The Hill," NewsNation's afternoon political panel-style talk show, will air on SiriusXM at 6 p.m., one hour after it airs live on cable.
Moderated by chief Washington correspondent Blake Burman, the hourlong show was launched by NewsNation in April and focuses on the top headlines out of Washington and political stories of the day.
“As NewsNation continues to grow and expand the brand, we are searching for new ways to meet our audiences wherever they are, and our agreement with SiriusXM will do just that,” Michael Corn, president of News at NewsNation, said in a statement announcing the deal.
“We think The Hill is a perfect start and look forward to listeners getting a taste of the NewsNation product whether they’re in their cars or on-the-go listening to the SiriusXM app," Corn added.
NewsNation is owned by Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.
