Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has revealed new stories about Donald Trump and Kevin McCarthy in her new book — and the co-hosts of "The View" are loving every word.
According to Cheney, when Trump left the White House and returned to Mar-a-Lago after his 2020 election loss, he was "depressed" and "wasn't eating." McCarthy (R-CA) rushed to the Florida estate, where he took a photo with the former president despite previously saying it was time for the GOP to move on from Trump.
Joy Behar — known for her lasagna she often gives away as gifts — said that instead of cooking one for her colleagues on "The View," she would send it to Trump.
But it was Whoopi Goldberg who pointed out just how pathetic it sounded.
"Kevin McCarthy felt so strong, was he going to breast-feed him?" asked Goldberg. "It makes no sense to me. The book is arriving as billionaire conservative PAC the Koch Brothers' network endorses Nikki Haley for president. What is happening with the GOP? I have to say, what is going on over there?"

Alyssa Farah Griffin, former Trump White House staffer, said that she was grateful Cheney was speaking out. Sunny Hostin had another way of describing her gratitude.
"I really love a good cup of tea, and Liz Cheney is spilling the tea in this book!" she exclaimed.
Cheney's book, Oath and Honor, will be available next Tuesday, and Raw Story will have full coverage.
