A European pro-life center declared feminism the “great enemy” of women following a fire-bomb attack on its headquarters.
During a demonstration for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women this past Sunday in Rome, which aims to draw attention to women’s rights issues, protesters turned violent, throwing molotov cocktails at the headquarters of the pro-life group Pro Vita & Famiglia.
“The mask has fallen, showing the true face of transfeminism: an aggressive, violent, dangerous, and ideological movement that does not tolerate those who think differently than them and that does not care about poor women who are victims of femicide,” Pro Vita & Famiglia said in a statement.
“Feminism is a much greater enemy of women than any phantom ‘patriarchy’ because it manipulates the true reasons for the phenomenon, preventing its resolution,” stated the organization.
In addition to Molotov cocktails, protesters threw rocks, bottles, and smoke bombs, breaking shutters and windows in the process. The protesters attempted to set fire to the building but were prevented by police officers standing in front of it.
Pro Vita and Famiglia Spokesperson Jacopo Coghe said that authorities found an undetonated explosive in the building a day after the protest.

In a post shared on X, Coghe condemned the attacks and called for the organizers of the International Day for the Elimniation of Violence Against Women to condemn the attacks.
“Those ‘against all violence’ are perpetrating unprecedented violence against our headquarters. Blind hatred and furious violence,” said Coghe. “Whoever does not condemn is an accomplice!”
Since the attacks, only one politician has condemned the attacks and expressed his solidarity. Fratelli d’Italia MEP Carlo Fidanza shared a statement online expressing his disgust at the attacks.
“A hug to the friends of Pro Vita and Famiglia and a very harsh condemnation, which I hope comes from all political forces, to those who attacked its headquarters,” said Fidanza.
