The couple has never revealed Fruitcake‘s real name – or what she does for a living – yet she is clearly the I’m A Celebrity star’s number one cheerleader.
When asked about staunch Brexit remainer Fred’s clashes with ex UKIP leader Nigel, 59, Fruitcake told us she was proud.
She added: “It was in an adult way. Yeah.
“And you don’t always have to agree with someone’s views.
“And if you can do it in a polite and adult way then great.”
She then revealed Fred has stowed away three surprise secret items – these being a trio of skimpy Speedo shorts.
Fruitcake told us: “I haven’t seen clips of him in his Speedos yet and I am surprised. You know you are allowed to take in five pieces of underwear? He took three speedos and two pants.
“So he’s got one pair with the French flag. I’m surprised that he hasn’t worn them. I swear the man lives in them.
“And he’s got one that’s red and I think one that’s blue.”
Asked if he had hidden them away because of Nigel, she added: “Oh, no, he would pull it on for that reason.
“So no, he won’t be he won’t be afraid to put them on for that reason at all.”
Previously, it was reported how Fred had blasted Nigel as a “coward” and a “liar” on social media in the aftermath of the Brexit vote.
The subject was inevitably raised in camp with Fred asking Nigel: “What’s the benefit of Brexit then? If you are an average person from Britain, what’s the benefit?”
Nigel said: “To know that we’re independent, we stand on our own two feet in the world.”
Fred said: “Brexit was about immigration, I remember your poster. I thought it was shameful what you did, Nigel. Shameful.”
Nigel replied: “Sadly, sadly it was absolutely true. It was a poster showing mass young men moving illegally across borders.”
Fred said: “But it was about demonising migrants.”
Nigel replied: “No it wasn’t. In your view it was, but it wasn’t.”
To which Fred said: “It’s not only just my view.”
In the Bush Telegraph later on, Fred said: “Look, Nigel Farage is in the jungle with me. We’re bound to have this conversation. At the end of the day nothing is going to change, Nigel believes what he believes, I believe what I believe. It was only a matter of time.”
