Yet on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain her true health situation was revealed.
Reporting on I’m A Celebrity live from Down Under, ITV‘s entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold confirmed she is back with the jungle crew.
He said: “We can report she was seen by a medic, we know that much.
“But she is now well and truly back in the camp.
“She remains firmly under that jungle canopy.”
Richard then told how Nella – who has faced a slew of disgusting foodie trials – has decided to stick it out in camp instead of going home with an “excuse to bolt.”
Last night, before announcing who was set to take on Trial In Too Deep, Ant and Dec gave the campmates an update on Nella’s whereabouts.
Dec said: “Now, unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she’ll be back later, but it means she’s now exempt from this trial. So let’s go in there and see who will be doing it.”
Nick Pickard and Nigel Farage were soon revealed to be facing the trial.
The Sun then revealed Nella later returned to camp.
Yet she was not the only campmate facing a tough time – with one star also threatening to quit.
Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, was also seen sobbing through the episode, finally retreating to the phone box in an attempt to call her family.
In the enclosed space, she took some mental time out.
The Zoey 102 star was heard threatening to quit and said: “I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much, I hate it here so much.
“I hate it, I hate it, I hate it here.
“This place is where people go to have the worst days of their lives.”
Hoping for divine intervention, she added: “Dear God please help me to make it.
“I think I’ve got to leave, I think I’ve got to leave.”
After she returned to the hammocks, her emotions sparked a feud – with Sam Thompson accusing her of “crying wolf.”
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Jamie has threatened a walkout.
Jamie appeared on the brink of walking after her campmates failed to win her luxury item in a tough challenge.
