FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ 2023-24 indoor and outdoor schedule includes a total of nine home meets – five indoor and four outdoor – with the Razorbacks serving as host of the SEC Indoor Championships in February as well as the NCAA West Preliminary Round in May.
The men’s distance runners, who just completed the cross country season with a fourth-place team finish at the NCAA Championships, will start the indoor season this weekend (Dec. 2) at Boston University.
Indoor meets held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in 2024 include the Arkansas Invitational (Jan. 12), Razorback Invitational (Jan. 26-27), Tyson Invitational (Feb. 9-10), and the Arkansas Qualifier (Feb. 16).
The Razorbacks serve as host of the SEC Indoor Championships on February 23-24 as both Arkansas programs defend respective team titles, with the women’s program seeking a 10th consecutive indoor league championship along with the men’s squad aiming for a fifth consecutive indoor team title.
The NCAA Championships, where the Razorback men and women are also defending team champions, will be held March 8-9 in Boston, Massachusetts, at The Track at New Balance facility.
Additional indoor travel for Arkansas includes the women at Texas A&M’s McFerrin 12 Degree Invite (Jan. 13) in College Station, Texas, and the men at New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 2-3) in Albuquerque, the site of the Razorbacks dual NCAA Indoor national championships last March.
For the outdoor season, John McDonnell Field will host the Arkansas Spring Invitational (Apr. 6), John McDonnell Invitational (Apr. 18-19), and Arkansas Twilight (May 3).
Travel meets for the Razorbacks include the women at Texas Relays (March 27-30) with the men at Stanford Invitational (Mar. 29), followed by both programs at Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville, Florida (Apr. 12-13), Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California (Apr. 12-13), as well as the LSU Invitational (May 27).
The University of Florida will host the SEC Outdoor Championships on May 9-11 in Gainesville with defending champion Arkansas challenging for a fourth consecutive men’s league title and a second consecutive women’s conference title.
The NCAA West Preliminary Round will be hosted in Fayetteville for the third time with men’s competition held on May 22nd & 24th while women’s competition is held on May 23rd & 25th.
The meet serves as the first and second round of the NCAA Championships with the top 12 individuals and relays advancing to Eugene, Oregon, for the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 5-8).
