NIGEL Farage left Nella Rose “upset” on I’m A Celeb tonight after the stars mimicked a Jamaican accent.
The former Ukip leader fumbled his way through a discussion with Nella, 26, about cultural appropriation and was branded “insensitive” by fans.
The YouTube star held her tongue when Nigel told her that he didn’t believe cultural appropriation was wrong.
In a very awkward moment on the ITV show, he told her: “You know, when someone goes to a fancy dress party dressed as a Mexican.”
Nella replied, saying: “You can’t use someone’s culture as a fancy dress, the Mexican outfit is tradition to them
“That’s why in America they don’t dress up as native Americans because it’s not a joke.”
Nella was later picked to do a trial with Nigel, and said: “After Nigel made all those comments about cultural appropriation the last thing I wanted to do was go into a trial with him. There’s a time and a place.”
