FANS are demanding the return of Angellica Bell to the Martin Lewis Money Show – weeks after her “secret” sacking.
The presenter had co-hosted the ITV show since 2017.
But she did not return for series 13 when it aired in October this year and was replaced by Team GB athlete Jeanette Kwakye.
The Sun revealed how Angellica was told she would no longer be required for the show just days before filming.
Producers claimed her decision to appear on Channel 5‘s The Gadget Show – freshly rebranded as Shop Smart, Save Money – represented a conflict of interest.
Despite this, fans were this evening demanding her return.
One fumed: “@itvMLshow where’s Angellica Bell, not the same without her.”
While another chimed: “@angellicabell Where have you gone from @itvMLshow ? You’ve disappeared.. @MartinSLewis.”
Angellica helped the programme receive a nomination for a TV BAFTA after joining six years ago.
A source close to the show told The Sun earlier this month: “Angellica was a valued part of the team having joined in series seven.
“But, given the importance of maintaining a clear, individual and distinct identity for the show it was felt that her new role meant she would not be offered a new contract to continue on the Martin Lewis Money Show Live.”
