A truce between Hamas and Israel, which has now been extended by a further two days, has allowed much-needed aid to reach those still trapped in Gaza. However, the amount of essentials such as food and water crossing into the enclave still amounts to little more than a trickle. At the Rafah border crossing, aid trucks accumulate stretching back for several kilometres, waiting to cross over from Egypt into Gaza.
