The Palestinian embassy is organising a blood donation on Wednesday to commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, according to a decision of the UN General Assembly.
Members of the public will be able to donate blood from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday, at the Palestinian embassy in Engomi (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tLp1SgrMJRBUDRk67).
A press release said the event will “commemorate the lives lost in occupied Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, in the genocide perpetrated by Israel, and help those who survived the bombings and are fighting for freedom and justice”.
“Let’s show our solidarity with the people of Palestine by offering them the most precious thing we have, our blood,” it added.
There was no mention of how the donations would reach Gaza.
