Vicki Alderman took to social media to share her simple trick that’ll keep your hands warm – and people are stunned they haven’t tried it before.
So if you want to be able to use your phone and find that proper gloves get in the way, you’ll need to grab yourself a hat and give this mouse mat tip a try.
Vicki said: “Here’s a little cold weather hack for you.
“If your fingers get cold when you’re working on your laptop, even if you’re wearing your fingerless gloves like me, especially the hand that’s on your mouse.
“My fingers get so cold they hurt, but not anymore because now I do this.
“Get yourself a woolly hat, put your mouse mat and your mouse inside your hat and you’ve got yourself a lovely little warm mouse pad muff.”
Showing off her DIY trick, Vicki continued: “It works brilliantly at keeping your hands warm.
“I better get back to work – till next time!

Vicki later confirmed: “It works great.
“Such a relief to have found a solution to my painful cold fingers.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @vickialderman, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it was shared just nine hours ago, but has quickly amassed 42,800 views.
Social media users were stunned at the simple hack and were eager to give it a try.

In response, Vicki replied: “Me too, and I can’t type etc with full gloves on. Such a relief to have found a solution.”

Vicki then responded: “I know Miriam but I try not to dwell. I’m thankful to have a safe home, even if it is a little cold.”
