MILLIONS of fans have followed WWE superstar Randy Orton’s 20-year career, but little is known about his wife Kim.
The 14-time WWE world champion met his wife in 2012.
Randy Orton is one of the few wrestlers who married someone who does not work directly in the wrestling business.
Kimberly Marie Kessler Orton, 38, is a socialite born in New York City.
Before marrying Orton, she was a huge fan of WWE and wrestling altogether.
Kim would joke to her friends and family that one day she would meet and marry Randy Orton.
Since 2022, she has co-hosted The Wives of Wrestling Podcast.
The Internet show typically features interviews with other wrestler’s wives.
Kim is also the owner of SLTHR, a clothing brand loosely named after her husband’s in-ring nickname, The Viper.
The couple met at a live event in Poughkeepsie, New York, in 2012 while she was a member of his fan club.
While at this show, Orton spotted her in the crowd and introduced himself. Kim says they have been inseparable ever since.
During an interview on WWE Network’s Unfiltered with Renee Young she said: “In my brain, way before I met Randy, he was my boyfriend.”
On another WWE TV show Table for 3, she also said that three years before the two met she predicted that “they would make out and he would fall in love with her.”
After Kim and Orton dated for a few months, he proposed to her during a romantic vacation to Bora Bora.
The two married four months later on November 14, 2015, in Las Vegas, with Kim’s three sons and Orton’s daughter in attendance.
Orton shared that his wife would lie about dating him at the beginning of their relationship because of his fame, and her desire for privacy.
She was criticized by online trolls who called her a “gold digger,” and was accused by fans of eliminating his fan mail.
Kim has children from a previous marriage and is secretive when it comes to her first marriage.
She had three sons named Anthony, Robbie, and Michael, with her first husband.
Orton has a daughter Alana from his first marriage to gymnast Samantha Speno.
Kim and Orton welcomed their daughter Brooklyn Rose Orton in November 2016.
The blended family of seven are happy and often share family pictures and videos on Instagram.
