Kerry Katona’s daughter DJ, 9, rushed to hospital for MRI after fainting at home
KERRY Katona revealed her daughter Dylan-Jorge has had an MRI scan after “suffering fainting” spells at home.
The mum-of-five, 43, said the family is still awaiting the results but has been told by a doctor that the scan has “something”.
Writing in her latest OK! column, Kerry explained how the tragic death of TV star Annabel Giles from a brain tumour has added to her health anxiety.
She wrote: “Annabel Giles sadly passed away at 64 last week, which was awful. It really scares me to read things like that. It’s such a shame and I’m thinking of her family. I have health anxiety when it comes to DJ.
“I worry about her, especially recently as she’s had a few fainting spells. We took her for an MRI and the doctor found something. We’re waiting as her results have been sent to a neurosurgeon, but the doctor seems to think she’s alright. He said that lots of us could have what she has but we’ve just not had MRIs.”
Earlier this year Kerry told how youngest child DJ, nine, collapsed on a family holiday in Turkey.
Kerry detailed how DJ’s eyes “rolled back” and called it the “most terrifying thing ever”.
The youngster vomited and had a vacant look before being taken to hospital where she was found to have low blood pressure due to the heat.
Meanwhile, Kerry recently revealed she’s getting nose surgery after her former drug addiction has caused it to collapse.
She said she has already been for a consultation with her plastic surgeon and is scared to go under the knife.
“He went, your nose is collapsing. So I have damaged my nose from doing drugs,” she revealed.
“I was offered to get it fixed years ago, and I said no, because for me it was a reminder not to touch it.
“So he said, would you want your nose fixing? And I started crying.
“They’re just going to fix it for me because it’s damaged on the inside, so yeah, I cry because I’ve done really well for myself and I’m really proud of myself. Again it’s not about how many times you fall …
“So I’m getting my nose fixed and I think it’s … eeek I’m scared.”
