Taking to social media, Lauren Frances shared how she transformed the dated caravan she bought for just £450 in a matter of days.
Lauren bought the caravan for just £450 for her nephew to live in[/caption] The place had to be gutted before they could start redecorating[/caption] She quickly got to work transforming the van in just six days[/caption]In the clip posted to her TikTok account @lflbroadhurst she can be seen showing off the living room and bathroom which look like they haven’t been updated in years.
One of the sofas was piled high with household items making it unusable, the two beds were covered in a blush pink velvet lining – not so great for a young boy to live in.
The flooring was a grey laminate flooring but the caravan lacked any character until Lauren got her hands on it.
In the clip, she wrote: “Brought a trailer for £450 for our nephew to live in.
“Lets see what we can do.”
The entire caravan had a makeover with Lauren painted the walls a dark navy blue and adding memorabilia of her nephew’s favourite football team.
Instead of having two single beds in the room – she built a platform to turn it into a giant double bed.
“He’s got a little man cave,” she added.
On the other side of the caravan she created a games room complete with a gaming chair and computer.
The amazing transformation took Lauren just six days to complete and it soon went viral and people were quick to praise Lauren for the fabulous DIY job she did.
One person wrote: “Brilliant well done your nephew is so lucky to have yous.”
Another commented: “Lauren that’s amazing I need a few of these for my family.”
“Fantastic well done,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “That’s brilliant.”
Someone else added: “Looking good!”
