A CLEANING expert has shared her DIY hacks that will leave your dishwasher smelling amazing.
She also revealed the household item she uses to get her silverware gleaming.
In her post, Alissa (@home.and.chaos) demonstrated the three handy tricks.
For her first suggestion, she advised her followers to add a kitchen staple to the machine.
“Deodorize with a bowl of vinegar on the top rack,” Alissa told her viewers.
For the next step, she sprinkled baking soda on the bottom of the machine.
She then ran a quick rinse cycle to spread the powder throughout the dishwasher.
Alissa also tackled the exterior of her dishwasher with the household item.
“Clean the stainless steel with a spray bottle filled with equal parts water and white vinegar,” she said.
Finally, the Instagrammer revealed the best item to use for sparkling silverware.
“Add a ball of aluminum foil to dish loads for spotless silverware and glasses,” Alissa told viewers.
