A MOM has revealed the huge amount of food that she prepared to feed her family of 13 on Thanksgiving.
She prepared an all-day feast including baked treats for breakfast, a sharing board for lunch followed by a traditional turkey, and a variety of pies for dinner.
Alicia Dougherty (@doughertydozen) boasts over 6.2 million followers on TikTok, where she shares life with her husband Josh and their 11 children.
She took to the social media platform to reveal the eye-watering amount of food that she prepared for Thanksgiving.
“For breakfast, they had bagels, fruit, doughnuts, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, and bacon,” Alicia said.
“For lunch, they had grapes, chicken wing dip, chips and salsa, chips and dip, and a charcuterie board.
“For dinner, they had salad and applesauce, stuffing, 28 pounds of deep-fried turkey.
“Southern-style candied yams, dinner rolls.
“Squash, green bean casserole, nana’s fruit salad, relish, homemade mac and cheese, gravy, and mashed potatoes.”
Alicia panned the camera to show their dining table overflowing with every food imaginable as she revealed the excessive amount they also prepared to eat after dinner.
“For a snack, we had another charcuterie board and cheese platter,” she continued.
“For dessert, we had pecan pie, pumpkin pie, lemon meringue pie, cherry pie, apple pies, chocolate and gourmet goodies. Bon appetit.”
Viewers were shocked that Alicia’s family ate so much food but admitted they would also be eager to join them for dinner.
“Wow! Looks fantastic! When can I come over?” one commented.
“Oh my goodness! I’m coming to your house for Thanksgiving! Can you make it 12 kids [laughing],” another said.
“I’m thrown from that snack selection after that big dinner,” a third chimed in.
“Y’all eat breakfast and lunch before Thanksgiving meal? [laughing] We make it for dinner at 1 pm, everyone starves until then,” a fourth wrote.
“Guess who’s coming to your house for Thanksgiving,” another added.
The post comes after Alicia revealed to TODAY that she and Josh began fostering children in 2010, after experiencing 11 miscarriages.
The couple now have four biological children and have adopted seven children who have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), a group of conditions that occur when alcohol passes from a mother to her baby through the umbilical cord.
They spend at least $1,000 a week on groceries and do five loads of laundry each day.
