November 21 – Former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has launched a “multi-million-pound” claim against the club over unpaid wages.
Mendy is claiming “unauthorised deductions from wages” after he was charged with rape and sexual assault in 2021. He was found not guilty on all counts earlier this year.
Mendy, who now plays for French Ligue 1 team Lorient, has been seeking the return of pay he believes he is owed up until the end of his contract in June 2023.
