AN incredible “Home Alone” mansion based in the UK has gone on the market for £7million.
The Christmas cult classic followed Kevin McCallister – played by child star Macaulay Culkin – as he went to hilarious extremes to protect his family’s sprawling home from burglars.

Now, one property much closer to home in Cobham, Surrey, replicates the iconic mansion.
The huge home boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a cinema, and a swimming pool, as well as a “sprawling” kitchen, breakfast room, and family room.
It also has a utility room, a larder, and both a dog room and a boot room.
The gargantuan mansion has been described as a “showpiece” by estate agents eXp UK.
Estate agent Adam Day said: “At first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking this is the actual Home Alone house.
“But it’s fair to say that this property is far superior.
“It’s certainly large enough to host a film crew, but the last thing you would want to do is let Kevin run riot given his previous form for destruction.”
The house sits on a nearly three-quarter-acre plot and stretches across almost 13,500 square feet – said by eXp UK to be three times that of its counterpart in Winnetka, Illinois
And unlike Kevin’s home, the Cobham mansion has a full security system.
“If you do make a habit of forgetting your children, you can rest assured they will be safe and sound,” quipped Adam.
The basement level is “where indulgence takes centre stage” with a private cinema, snooker room with a bar, a gym, a steam room, and a wine cellar.
Meanwhile, there is a second “discreet” chef’s kitchen in the sprawling home.
The swanky home also has a triple garage, under-floor heating, air-conditioning, and a self-contained one-bedroom annex.
And two principal bedrooms boast his and hers dressing rooms, while six of the seven rooms have en-suites and two have direct access to a terrace.
The estate is roughly a mile from both Cobham High Street and Cobham and Stoke D’Abernon train station.
The nearby A3 also means it takes less than an hour to drive into central London.
Estate agents added in the property’s listing: “Indulge in the epitome of lavish living at Oxshott Rise, an exquisite jewel nestled within the exclusive gated haven of the Oxshott Way Estate.
“This peerless residence, boasting a staggering 13,469 square feet of pure opulence, is a masterstroke of architectural prowess.”
They described: “As you cross the threshold of the grand entrance hall, prepare to be swept away by the allure of luxury.
“A sweeping, extravagant staircase unfurls the red carpet of elegance that defines every facet of this residence.”
