A BBC Breakfast star is unrecognisable in a birthday picture with her lookalike sister – but can you guess who?
A number of the BBC Breakfast team are on social media, and share regular updates on their lives away from the camera.
In one of their most recent posts on Instagram Stories, the journalist reposted a throwback snap shared by their sibling, Amy.
Amy challenged her sister to guess the year of the picture, which saw them beaming for the camera, one in a white dress with angel wings on, the other in a black dress with a white trim.
If you haven’t worked it out already, the picture is of Nina Warhurst, BBC Breakfast‘s business correspondent, currently on maternity leave.
Nina, 43, is one of the show’s most prolific users of social media and regularly keeps her fans up to date on her family’s activities.
Replying to her sister Amy, Nina wrote: “Oh my. 2004? The decade of hair straighteners. No fringe was safe.”
These days, Nina has ditched the fringe for a side parting and happily wears her hair in natural waves while enjoying her maternity leave with baby daughter Nancy and sons Digby and Michael.
Last month, Nina shared a smiling snap of her cradling Nancy in the sunshine to celebrate her birthday.
With her hair swept over to one side and no sign of a pair of straighteners going near them, Nina beamed in a funky shirt and sunglasses.
She captioned it: “It’s my birthday. 43 bringing extra gratitude, a few extra lbs, and one extra (extra) midlife Dad-on-hols Hawaiian shirt.”
Nina gave birth to Nancy in July with husband Ted, who she married in March 2014.
