IF your bathroom is in a bit of a state and you aren’t sure where to start, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
For many of us, cleaning is a dull chore that we will often try to put off, but for one woman, getting her home spick and span is her form of therapy.
Fabulous took a trip to Chantelle Devonshire’s chalet, to find out her tips and tricks for getting your home sparkling[/caption] Chantelle revealed how she gets her carpets clean and her surfaces dust-free[/caption]Fabulous took a visit to see Chantelle Devonshire, 22, an English gypsy girl, at her chalet home in Cambridge, to hear about the cleaning tips, tricks and hacks that she swears by.
From getting your shower smear-free to ensuring your toilet is sparkling, Chantelle shared the advice that she lives by, including the cotton bud hack you must try.
She also revealed the cheap buys and the own brand buys she couldn’t be without.
The gypsy girl told Fabulous that she can spend four hours a day cleaning and has a variety of simple tricks to get her bathroom shining.
Chantelle told Fabulous: “I’m Chantelle, a gypsy cleaning queen, and today I’m going to show you how to get your bathroom smear-free.”
Chantelle swears by the Las 3 Brujas spray to get her mirrors sparkling[/caption]The domestic goddess then shared the £3.50 buy that she is obsessed with: “I use this spray [Las 3 Brujas] for the mirrors, or any chrome bits, just to make it look more sparkly.”
Chantelle then used a Flash bathroom spray, which you can nab for just £2 from Sainsbury’s, as she added: “Now I use Flash, and what I do, I spray it all around the sink and I leave it to soak.
“I get a toothbrush and go round the little bits I can’t get.
“When I can’t get hold of any other bleach, I go for the cheap brand one, from Lidl, the thick bleach.”
Following this, Chantelle shared her super simple earbud hack, as she added: “For in the frame bits, I can never reach it, even with a toothbrush, so another hack, I use cotton ear buds.
She also explained that washing-up liquid is key for unblocking your loo[/caption]“Dip it in water and then I go in with the [cotton bud] for the little bits I can’t get.”
When it comes to cleaning inside her loo, Chantelle explained: “Now I’m going to clean inside – it ain’t really that bad. If it was bad I’d use a toilet brush.
“But every day, I leave this [Flash bathroom limescale remover] soaking, to kill the germs, and all around the seat.”
But not only does she do this, Chantelle also shared the simple hack she swears by for a blocked toilet.
She revealed: “Another hack – probably not many people know this, I didn’t know this until a few months ago. If your toilet ever gets blocked, the best thing to unblock it is actually Fairy liquid.
“You smother the toilet in Fairy liquid, get a kettle, boil it, tip it in there and leave it to soak.
“I use half a bottle. What it does, down the actual pipe of the toilet, it loosens it all up. It makes it flush away easily. But you’ve gotta leave it to soak.”
Not only does she use Fairy liquid in her toilet, but she also uses it on her shower too.
Chantelle shared how she gets her shower sparkling[/caption]The cleaning guru explained: “So now I’m gonna clean the shower frame. I found a new hack on TikTok. I used to use the glass cleaner to go over it, but someone said Fairy liquid. It makes it sparkle.
“I found this hack on TikTok. You’ve gotta go over it [with a Squeegee] to make sure there’s no water on it. When you go over it with the cloth you need it as dry as possible.
“It’s so satisfying for me.
“Now I go over it with this [Las 3 Brujas]. I go over this with a dry cloth to make sure it leaves no marks. You can see it’s sparkling and there’s no smears.”
If you’ve run out of Fairy liquid and are looking for a cheap alternative, you can nab a bottle of washing up liquid for just 62p from Sainsbury’s.
